Three Ponds Valley Campsite

The area of the Three Ponds Valley/Sztauwajery in Katowice. There is a legal official campsite/tent area in the Valley with all amenities and quite a decent standard. However, if someone wants to camp more wild, they can drive up from the other side (parking where the pin is) and park for free year-round with any vehicle or come on foot. The parking lot is quite crowded in the summer, but outside the season, especially in autumn and winter, it is practically empty. Attractions include a volleyball court, beaches with swimming areas, a water sports equipment rental, and bike paths. There are bars and places to eat by the lakes. Additionally, about a kilometer away, there is a shopping center with a grocery store, a building supplies store, and fast food restaurants. There is also an airport nearby, so you can watch planes and helicopters from behind the fence and above your heads. The place is very crowded during the season, but it provides all necessary amenities. In the cold months, it is quite peaceful, where one can find a moment of rest. Besides asphalt paths, there is also the option to walk along forest paths. Additionally, a pro or con is the fact that the city center is not far away. Outside the campsite, if you want to camp, it is better to do so without staying overnight or with an overnight stay in a camper van due to what I consider a low level of safety at night, especially when the area becomes deserted.
