About this place

Near the Ogrodzieniec Castle, in Bzów on the Częstochowa Upland, there is a peaceful parking area with views of the surrounding fields. You can get here by car, camper, or off-road vehicle - the parking is available for various types of vehicles. The infrastructure is practically non-existent, but that’s exactly what attracts: silence and tranquility, without the hustle and bustle. From this place, you have access to the Rzędowa Rock - a rock formation rising among the fields, topped with an iron cross. From the top, there is a wide panoramic view of the landscape. The rock is popular among climbers. In the evening, you will hear tawny owls, nightingales, and at night, perhaps a European nightjar. The sky here has a brightness of about Bortle 4 - stars are clearly visible, although it is not a place completely devoid of light. Many species of meadow and field plants grow in the area, and the fauna includes birds, insects, and amphibians. The cell signal is weak - the tower is about 2.7 km away.
