Position under the Donnersmarck Fir

Wild spot Kalety, Silesian Voivodeship, Poland WI Wildnests

About this place

Romania, by the river near Transfagarasan. A place for one night on the way - close to the road, but quiet. There is some litter here, but nothing that would be bothersome. You can get here by camper. The sky is quite clear, so at night you will see stars, though not in all their glory. You can hear birds in the area - owls, nightingales, flycatchers. If you have a moment, it's worth checking out a few hundred meters further to the Cisu Donnersmarcka, a monumental specimen of yew - the thickest tree of this species in the Polish State Forests. Cell signal is weak, you rely on reception from a distance.
