You enter an email and a password, then confirm your address with a link from the email (valid for 24 hours). The account activates right away.

We do not require a phone number, date of birth or surname. A username is enough.

On the login screen tap "Forgot password" and enter your email. We send the link to set a new password right away, valid for about fifteen minutes.

Not arriving? Check spam and the "Promotions" folder. We send from support@wombato.com.

In your account settings choose "Delete account". After you confirm, we erase your personal data (in line with GDPR). Places you published stay on the map as a contribution to the community, but their authorship is anonymised.

Technically yes, if you use two different email addresses. In practice we advise against it: your community profile, friends and favourites work better in one place.

Once logged in, choose "Add place". The wizard guides you step by step: drop the pin, pick a category, add photos and a description, set the legality status.

A new place goes into review (usually 1-2 working days) before it appears publicly. We check for duplicates, the category, photo quality and initial legality.

At least one, ideally 3-5. Show the access, the camping spot itself, the view and the surroundings. No photos of other people without their consent.

We strip the location data stored in the photo before publishing, so your exact position does not leak by accident.

Not directly. Only its author can edit someone else's place.

If you spot an error, outdated information or a safety issue, report it with the button on the place page and we will take a look.

The most common reasons: a duplicate of an existing place, too few or weak photos, private property without consent, an illegal spot, or photos that breach someone's privacy.

Every rejection comes with a reason and the option to fix it and submit again.

Published places are a shared asset: they carry reviews, photos and check-ins from other people, so you do not delete them yourself. If there is a serious reason, write to us.

Drafts and rejected proposals you can delete any time under "My places".

Pro is a boost for heavy users: richer search filters, more trip-planning tools and no limits on favourites and lists.

The free plan stays fully usable forever: the map, adding places, reviews, friends and basic filters.

In Poland, 29 zł a month or 199 zł a year (the yearly plan is over 40% cheaper).

You always see the price in your own currency. Payment is handled by Paddle, which also settles the taxes.

You cancel in your subscription settings, in the payment management panel. No hidden steps and no "last chance" offers.

Pro runs until the end of the paid period. Then you return to the free plan and your data stays.

There is not. The free plan is fully featured and shows whether Wombato suits you. You buy Pro when you actually need its features.

If you buy Pro and decide it is not for you, we handle refunds in line with consumer law. Write to us.

The minimum needed to run: an email for login, a username (public) and your country (for language and currency). Optionally a profile photo and a short bio. We do not collect a phone number, date of birth or background location.

No. We do not use Facebook Pixel, we do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell your data.

You have the right to it (GDPR). In your privacy settings you download a package with all your data (profile, places, reviews, check-ins, settings) as a file.

Be specific. What was good, what made access harder, whether there is signal, what the surroundings were like. The visit date and season help others a lot.

No "great spot, recommend" with no detail. No attacks on other people. No photos of people without their consent.

Recognitions for a real contribution: reporting violations, verified places, keeping camps clean. Separately there is the Pioneer programme, where the first users get a special status.

No streak counters, no daily goals, no levels. You earn badges for what you did, not for how much time you spent in the app.

Yes. Once blocked, you do not see their reviews, comments and posts, and they do not see yours. We do not tell them about the block.

Every review, post and place has a report button. Pick a reason and add a short note. We usually review it within 24 to 48 hours.

Since 2021 individual camping is legal in the areas of the "Zanocuj w Lesie" programme designated by the State Forests. Wombato shows these areas on the map.

The programme rules in short: a short stay in one spot, fire only in designated places (or a stove), no litter and no noise. Outside these areas you need the landowner's consent, and national parks have designated camping fields.

• Legal: a programme area, an official camping field, a campsite, or a place with the owner's written consent.
• Gray area: no clear ban, but no clear permission either. We recommend caution and asking locals.
• Forbidden: a national park outside designated spots, a strict reserve, private property without consent.

It varies a lot. In Scandinavia the "right to roam" applies and camping is legal almost everywhere with responsibility. In Germany and Austria it is usually banned outside designated places. In Czechia and Slovakia it is allowed with caveats.

In Wombato the legality status is marked on every place, so always check it before you set off.

We plan to release iOS and Android apps a few months after launch. For now Wombato works fully in the browser, including on your phone. You can add the site to your home screen so it opens like an app.

First refresh the page and check your connection. Opening it in a private browser window also helps.
