Shelter in Blatnia
About this place
At the Błatnia mountain shelter in the Silesian Beskids, you can pitch a tent in a designated grassy area right next to the main building. The shelter sits at 884 metres elevation near Brenna, in terrain shaped by ancient sedimentary rock. On clear nights the sky darkens enough to see the Milky Way with the naked eye. The surrounding forest holds beech, spruce and sycamore maple; listen for owls - Tawny, Long-eared and Eagle Owl all inhabit these woods. Mobile signal is fair here. In case of emergency, contact GOPR Grupa Beskidzka on 601 100 300.
