Clearing on the slopes of Wielka Polana
About this place
Wielka Polana is a wild spot located in the forest, in the area of Jaworze in the Bielsko district, in the Silesian Voivodeship. Access to it is on foot, which ensures intimacy and closeness to nature. In the vicinity, you will find streams, the sound of which creates a relaxing atmosphere. Phone reception is limited, which encourages disconnecting from daily matters and immersing yourself in the surrounding nature. Wielka Polana rises to an altitude of 788 m above sea level and is part of the mountain ridge that separates the valley of the source streams of Jasienica from the valley of Szeroki Potok. In the area, you can encounter a variety of plant and animal species. You will hear the songs of birds such as the little bittern, the white-backed woodpecker, or the long-eared owl, and you may also spot rare species that occur in this region. The sky above Wielka Polana is almost completely dark, which is conducive to stargazing.
