Shelter on Kiczora

Shelter on Kiczora

Wild spot Międzybrodzie Żywieckie, Silesian Voivodeship, Poland AR ARTEC

About this place

The summit of Kiczera is located in the Beskid Mały mountains, between Porąbka and Międzybórz Żywiecki. You can only reach it by off-road vehicle - the road is challenging. At the top, there is a large, spacious clearing with a shelter, benches, a grill, and a designated campfire area. The terrain is uneven - you need to level it quite a bit before setting up, but there is plenty of space for accommodation. The clearing has trees that provide shade and is located away from the road - it will be quiet here. A red hiking trail runs nearby, so explorers wandering through the area can stop here. In the vicinity, you can hear water birds - swans, ducks, geese - especially if you are close to Lake Międzybrodzkie, which lies below. The sky here has a brightness level of Bortle 4, so the stars will be clearly visible in the evening. If needed, you can contact the GOPR Beskid Group.
