At the edge of the lake in Hatvan, you will set up in a quiet spot that is completely silent at night. During the day, residents from nearby houses will pass by, but it won't be busy. You can get here by car, motorcycle, or camper - the surface is hard gravel, suitable for all-wheel-drive vehicles. Several groups can fit here. The sky has a brightness close to Bortle 2 - the stars are clearly visible. Around the lake, you can hear birds: mallards, great crested grebes, grey herons, and coots. Common terns, white-eyed pochards, and mergansers will also come here. In spring and autumn, you might spot rare species - the spotted crake, the Syrian woodpecker, the common cuckoo, or the collar sandpiper. The vegetation and insects attract a rich fauna - over twenty-five species have been observed within a five-kilometer radius, including several cases of endangered species. You are at an altitude of 114 meters above sea level, on the Great Plain. The cell signal here is weak but available.
