Parking over the Oder in Oława
About this place
The parking area near the Zwierzyniecka footbridge is a spacious vanlife spot, stretching from Na Grobli Street to the banks of the Odra River. On the other side of the river is the Wrocław Zoo, making this place attractive for visitors. On weekends, the parking lot fills up with various vehicles, and events often take place here. On weekdays, the atmosphere is much calmer. At different times of the day, from mornings to evenings, people come here with stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, and other watercraft to launch into the Odra. Access is convenient for campers, cars, and motorcycles. The surface is hard, which facilitates access; however, over the years, the lack of officially designated parking spaces has resulted in widespread "wild" parking, especially on sunny weekends and during the holiday season. On the parking lot, you can notice traces of campfires, but it is recommended to use fire pits, as patrols often tolerate such practices. For those who prefer to avoid unofficial parking, there is also the option to park on the street. The location is situated in the Oława suburb, in Lower Silesia, at an elevation of 115 m above sea level. In the area, you will hear various birds, including great tits and swans, which further enhances the time spent by the Odra.
Wild spot, no facilities Bring everything you need and leave no trace. There is no infrastructure here.
