Clearing under Jańska Góra

Vanlife Janówek, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland SP Speq

About this place

The clearing under Jańska Góra is located in the Łagiewnickie Hills, at an altitude of 190 meters. You can get here via a gravel road - passable for off-road vehicles and motorcycles, although it may be slippery after rainfall. It's also accessible on foot. The place is close to a forest, where you can hear the song of the long-tailed tit, the collared flycatcher, the rufous nightingale, or the golden oriole. You can set up on the clearing, where you can light a fire. In the nearby forest stands the Bisnar Tower - the elevation of Jańska Góra (255 m above sea level) is just a few hundred meters away. The sky here is quite dark - the stars are clearly visible. The cell signal is weak but available. The surrounding vegetation consists of typical species for this area - silver cinquefoil, rock oaks, scentless chamomile, field burdock, and common yarrow.
