About this place

Czerminek is located by the Gołuchów Reservoir, a dam reservoir in the Kaliska Upland. You can reach it via a road between fields, with the last few meters leading through a densely overgrown forest. The place accommodates a maximum of two cars, and from the edge, you can settle down close to the water - access to the reservoir is available. In the area, you can hear water birds: lapwings, water rails, and cranes. Over the reservoir, you can also see droshky, goldfinches, and blue tits flying. The sky here has a brightness level of Bortle 4 - stars are clearly visible, although it is not complete darkness. The cell signal is weak. Lake Gołuchowskie, built between 1969 and 1971, serves recreational and retention functions for the Kaliski Water Junction. On the eastern shore, there is a forest, and nearby, there is a campsite and a bathing area. Pleszew is located 12 kilometers to the northwest.
