The parking area is right by the river, with a great spot for wild camping just next to it. After 7 PM, the traffic dies down almost completely, making it the perfect place to relax in a peaceful, intimate setting. There is water available on-site, but please note it’s not drinking water. Access is entirely possible in a motorhome, though the road is made of soft gravel with a few potholes, so keep that in mind when arriving. You’ll also get good cell reception in the area, making it easy to stay connected with friends and family. The rich local wildlife is another big highlight. You can listen to the songs of birds like yellowhammers, nightingales, and lapwings, and spot a wide variety of plants and insects. Located in Pieve di Coriano, Lombardy, at an elevation of 14 meters above sea level, the area boasts relatively dark skies-perfect for stargazing at night. While you're here, it’s also worth checking out the nearby Santa Maria Assunta church, famous for its stunning 14th- and 15th-century frescoes.
