Junik is located at an altitude of 1557 meters in a municipality of the same name, at the foot of the Accursed Mountains. The area stretches along a vast riverbed with many opportunities for camping. Access requires a 4x4 vehicle - some sections of the route are difficult and require off-road capability. It is also possible to reach it on foot. The surroundings attract birds - you will hear the red-billed crossbill, the three-toed woodpecker, the jay, the spotted nutcracker, and the black-headed tit. Nearby, just 1.7 kilometers away, rises Maja e Ropë - a peak with an altitude of 2502 meters, the second highest mountain in the Bogićevica massif. The sky here is almost completely dark - stars are visible to the naked eye. Sometimes very friendly locals come here. The cell signal is weak.
