Margjonaj Beach near Lezhë

The beach in Margjonaj, near Lezhë on the northern coast of Albania. The sand here can be loose - it's easy to get stuck, so it's worth having a 4x4 or a high vehicle. You can get here by camper or overlanding vehicle; there is plenty of space both right by the shore and further inland. Closer to the entrance, you'll find bars and parking lots. The sky here is almost completely dark - the stars are visible to the naked eye. In the area, you can hear birds - including little egrets, reed warblers, and ortolans. The cell signal is weak but available.
