About this place

A shelter with a fire pit and a table, parking for two cars about thirty meters away. The beach is right next to it - the water is close, and you can swim. The area is flat, you can drive here by car, camper, or motorcycle on solid gravel. The trees provide shade. There is a toilet on the premises. Ylä-Vieksi is located in Kainuu at an elevation of 183 meters. The sky here is almost completely dark - stars are visible to the naked eye. You can hear birds in the area, including red-breasted flycatchers. Common pine, common heather, common spruce, and common juniper grow here. A cozy spot for one tent or camper.
