Clearing under Żabieniec

About this place

A large clearing with several shelters, including one for dozens of people. At each shelter, there is space for a campfire and tables. During the week, it is quiet, while on weekends it is very lively and crowded. Access is via a solid gravel road, which you can drive on with a car or camper - the area is flat and convenient for setting up. There is a state forest parking lot on site. Mobile phone reception is available here. The clearing is located away from the road, so on weekdays, you mainly hear birds - including mallards, pigeons, coots, and pheasants. The sky here has a brightness close to Bortle 5, and the stars are clearly visible. In the vicinity of Żabieniec and Piaseczno, you will encounter rich nature - pedunculate oaks, common hornbeam, blackbirds, and tits.
