Our Community Guidelines

Learn simple rules that will help you become a valuable member of our traveler community

Why follow the guidelines?

Our guidelines help create a friendly community where everyone feels safe. They're not restrictions, but tips that make sharing experiences more enjoyable for everyone.

4 simple rules that unite our community

  • Be kind to others - We all love traveling and camping. Treat others as you'd like to be treated - with kindness and patience. Regardless of experience, we're all here for the same thing.
  • Share accurate information - Your descriptions help others plan amazing trips. Write about what you actually saw: amenities, access, safety. Your honesty is a treasure for other travelers.
  • Respect property and law - Only add places where camping is allowed. Always check if you're not entering someone's private land. Respect local regulations and land owners.
  • Care for nature - We protect what we love. Don't reveal locations of sensitive places, reserves, or culturally valuable areas. Help preserve wilderness for future generations.

How to write so others understand you?

When adding a new place:

  • Take photos that show the true character of the place.
  • Describe what others will find: toilets, water access, electricity, nearby stores.
  • Tell them how to get there: what road, where to park, how far.
  • Check phone coverage - it's important for other travelers.
  • Watch out for potential problems: wildlife, steep slopes, mud.
  • Add tags that help with searching: "by the lake", "in the forest".
  • Update information if something has changed.

When writing reviews:

  • Tell the truth, but respectfully - criticism can be helpful.
  • Share practical tips: what to bring, what to watch out for.
  • Tell about your experiences: what was great, what could be improved.
  • Don't attack others - focus on the place, not people.
  • If something bothers you, report it - we'll help solve the problem.

What's better not to do?

These behaviors spoil the atmosphere and can make others feel uncomfortable:

  • Adding places where camping is prohibited.
  • Writing things that might offend or exclude someone.
  • Spamming, repeating the same content, or advertising.
  • Providing false information that might mislead others.
  • Harassing, insulting, or intimidating other travelers.
  • Sharing someone's personal data without permission.

When something bothers you - report it!

See something that's not right? Don't hesitate - your reports help us keep everyone safe. Important: we take all reports seriously and maintain discretion.
